August Goals

Another month, another post for goals that I may or may not do very good on! This is my third month doing this and I feel like I’m slowly getting to be more and more productive. So I’m going to try to make this month a really good one! (Try is the keyword there). 

Goals: 

  • Take good care of my hair – I’m going to be bleaching it again soon. Last month I bleached it and it grew an inch with the Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins I take everyday. I’ll have them linked down below.  
  • Keep eating somewhat healthy – I’ve been doing pretty good at eating healthy, but just in the mornings. In the afternoon I turn into a bottomless pit that will eat anything and everything I see.
  • Try a little harder to exercise – I need to start walking everyday again… and not just walking to get food. Walking to exercise.
  • Start working on my gymnastics again – Andrew, John, Samm and I went to Elevate, a trampoline park and well… we all sucked. I used to be really good at gymnastics but for the past year or so I’ve stopped. I need to practice with Samm on my trampoline then go back and be a little better haha.
  • Live the last month of “summer” to the fullest before fall starts – Don’t get me wrong I love fall and the feeling I get when the leaves start changing colors, but I love all the memories I make in the summer with my friends. This was defiantly a summer I will never forget and I want to make this last month the best one yet!

July Goals Update!

Hey everybody! July is coming to an end and that means we get to see how well I did keeping up with the goals I made at the beginning of the month… oh boy. This month flew right by. It feels like just yesterday it was the 4th of July. Time needs to slow down! Well, let’s get on to seeing how bad I did 😅.

My Goals: 

  • Not get sunburnt (Again from last month)
  • Be less anxious (No more anxiety!)
  • Start planning ahead (Blogging wise)
  • Exercise everyday
  • Eat healthy
  • Connect with my readers more (Social Media)

 

How I Did 

Not get sunburnt – I went to the lake and my face and only one shoulder got burnt. It wasn’t a bad burn though so I’m happy about that! It had turned into a tan by the next morning. 7/10

Be less anxious – I didn’t talk to a lot of people so I wasn’t very anxious this month. I did pretty good. 8/10 

Start planning ahead – In the beginning of the month I was barely ever home and wasn’t able to sit down and plan much… but towards the end of the month I dove right into things and started getting everything figured out! 6/10 

Exercise everyday – Well that didn’t happen! oops… but I did go swimming like twice a week, if not more. Does that count? I walked a lot too. 6/10

Eat Healthy – Now that is something I managed to do! I didn’t eat any family sized bags of Doritos in one sitting! Yay!! I’ve also started eating bananas or strawberries every morning for breakfast. (If I get up for breakfast) I’ve been sleeping in a lot lately. 8/10

Connect with my readers more – I’ve had a few people who read my blogs message me on Instagram and we’ve become good friends now! I’m so happy about that!! I love meeting new bloggers. If you’re a new blogger follow all my social media down below! 10/10 

45/60. I think I did a little better from last month. I’m excited to make more goals for August and try my best to achieve them. I’m not going to be lazy anymore! I hope you all liked reading! 💙

July Goals!

New month, new me. Or something like that. More like new month, same Dorito addicted maniac who is addicted to her phone. Sounds more like it! Yes, it’s July now, so I thought I would make a few more goals along with some old ones to stick to a “healthy” lifestyle. I may be skinny… but I’m really not a healthy person at all… this picture will prove it.

So, I’m not the healthiest person on this planet but I’m trying alright? Since I’m trying, I’ve set some more goals for me to try to accomplish this month. I’ll try to do better than I did last month! Let’s get into it!

My Goals

I hope I’ll be able to mostly stick to these goals. Seems pretty easy seeing it written in front of me. It’s hard to actually do them though. I hate being so lazy! We’ll see what happens this month! Update: June Goals

As many of you know, I set some goals for myself at the beginning of June and well… I suck haha. Let’s face it. Doritos are my best friend, wifi is my soulmate and tv is my drug. Perfect life! I did manage to not gain any weight. Go metabolism! Thank you for not making me fat even though I should be morbidly obese with the way I eat. Anyway, yes I did set some goals for myself to try to be just a little more healthy, physically and mentally. Let’s see if it worked!

My Goals

  • Take a walk everyday
  • Not eat as much junk food
  • Be more social 
  • Not get sunburnt
  • Get my hair to grow more
  • Blog more 

 

How I Did

  • Take a walk everyday: I’m proud to say that I took some sort of a walk almost everyday. I also did other walking… like walking across the parking lot to Dairy Queen to get ice cream… oops! Not healthy Abby… 7/10
  • Not eat as much junk food: I did not and I repeat DID NOT eat a family sized bag of Doritos in one sitting this month! I did eat a family sized bag of Doritos in a week though. But hey! I’m getting better at it! I also started eating something healthy everyday instead of grabbing unnecessary junk food. Go me! 8/10
  • Be more social: This month I was defiantly more social, even though it hurt me. I communicated more with my blog friends over social media as well as being more social with my friends in person. Now that killed me. I love getting to know everybody who reads my blogs. It makes writing so much more fun. 7/10
  • Not get sunburnt: Guess who didn’t get sunburnt! This girl!! I’m so proud of myself. Actually I have a little story for this. One day Andrew and I were going fishing and my dad told me like 1 billion times to put on sunscreen because I would easily burn in this heat. I used plenty of sunscreen and didn’t get burnt. When I got home my parents were waddling around the house because they didn’t use sunscreen. They looked like lobsters and honestly it was really funny since they kept telling me to use sunscreen but then they didn’t feel the need to. Let’s just say we stocked up on aloe after that. 10/10
  • Get my hair to grow more: I bleached it. End of story. 3/10
  • Blog more: I stuck to my blogging schedule really well. Right now my schedule is post on Monday and Thursday but I ended up throwing in a few extra blogs here and there because all of you say how much you like reading about my life haha 10/10

Total: 47/60 

That’s not too bad. I defiantly could’ve made some better choices (not bleaching my hair and killing every little strand on my head). It’s growing back though! Next month I’ll make new goals and try to stick to them better! Hope you liked reading! 💙

Goals for June

Summer is fast approaching and that means I need to stop being lazy and get outside more…  wether it’s exercising or just being outside. I want to go on adventures, be with friends and just feel genuinely happy again. Winter takes the life out of me. It’s not my season at all. So I’ve made a list of things I want to accomplish in June.

  1. Take a walk everyday. Even if it’s just around the block. I want to get outside and walk everyday. Not because it’s exercise, it’s also therapeutic to me. I love walking around and listening to music. It clears my head and makes me feel a lot better about myself.
  2. Not eat as much junk food. Lately I’ve been guilty of eating an entire family size bag of cool ranch Doritos in less than 24 hours. Even though I didn’t gain weight I felt pretty crappy after. I need to stop doing that.
  3. Be more social. I’m the one who will sit inside all day and not make any interaction with my friends. If it wasn’t for Andrew I would never talk to anybody.
  4. Not get sunburnt. I’m tired of being a pale little white girl. I need to be out in the sun and tan so I don’t look like a ghost in all of my pictures haha. But I don’t want to turn into a lobster! I’m Irish so I burn wayyy to easily and I don’t like that. Every. Single. Year. I get burnt. This year I’m determined to just tan.
  5. Get my hair to grow more. My hair used to never ever grow, but since I’ve been taking hair skin & nail pills my hair has been so much healthier and growing more. (PRAISE JESUS!)
  6. Blog more! Right now I’m posting every Monday and Thursday. (yes, I know it’s Tuesday now. Memorial Day made me completely forget about my blog because I wasn’t home all day…. sorry!) I want to post more and be more active with everybody on here. We’ll see what I think of 😊.

Those are some of the things I want to accomplish in June. As long as I’m not eating a bag of Doritos a day I think I’ll reach all of these goals. See you guys Thursday!
