The Time Has Come

Basketball season is finally over and the playoffs are upon us. As always, the Warriors are in it. Great. We all know how I feel about Kevin Durant by now. I’m one of the tons of basketball fanatics who filled out a bracket.

Now, I’m not stupid. I know the Warriors are going to go far… even though I don’t want them to. I have them winning the West Coast conference and the Bucks winning the East Coast Conference. That’s where the Warriors will come to an end because the Bucks are going to take it all. I refuse to admit that the Warriors could win it all because they won’t. Not going to happen this year.

Yesterday was a sad day for me. It was the first day of the playoffs. Every team I had set to win ended up losing… except the Warriors. That was the one I got right. I knew they would win though. It’s only game 1 of the series though, so there’s still time for now. Sadly, the Nuggets, the Raptors, and the 76ers all ended up losing.

Today has been a bit better. The Celtics beat the Pacers as I have them moving on. I got to watch that game and up until the 4th quarter when the Pacers absolutely blew it, it was a real nail biter. I had the Thunder set to win, but they were beat by the Trail Blazers. The Bucks are thankfully winning against the Pistons right now (106-67 sweet!) and I hope the Rockets win tonight against the Jazz. I have faith in James Harden and Chris Paul. I’m really not good at predicting things but maybe just maybe I’ll get something right this time. I’m still super salty about the Lakers not making it to the playoffs but there’s always next year… right?
