I’m going to start off by saying I’m not an expert on lightning my any means. I don’t know much about it except you shouldn’t be outside when there’s lightning. I’m terrified of storms, but the lightning is pretty at times. I’m downright spooked of thunder. That’s a big no no for me. If I’m outside and I hear thunder, I’m running full speed to my house or anywhere not outside.
So does lightning strike twice? I don’t know. I think I heard once that lightning never strikes the same spot twice. Is that true or am I stupid?
*At this point I started to question my sanity and went to Google because Google knows everything, and everything you hear on the internet is true obviously.*
Myth: Lightning never strikes the same place twice.
Truth: Lightning can strike any location more than once.
Well, thanks Google for helping me realize my whole life is a lie. Turns out I’m stupid and lighting is now really scary. I don’t think I’ve ever seen lighting strike anything in person. That would probably be pretty cool, unless I was the one being struck. Then it’s an unfortunate event. Rip.
One time, Michaela and I were FaceTiming and she was asking me about insurance in America.
“Michaela: But, like what would happen if some other freak accident happened and you didn’t have insurance? Like… if you got struck by lightning?
Me: Well… you would probably just die if that were to happen…”
You learn something new everyday. Today I learned my life is a lie. Lighting strikes twice.
