Hey guys! Welcome back.
It’s winter and extremely cold in Illinois. Last week it snowed like six inches the day before Christmas, so we had a white Christmas after all. Now it’s in the negatives all the time and I don’t like it. I like the snow, just not the cold. This is too cold.
It finally snowed though. A week before Christmas we had a 26% chance of having a white Christmas. A lot of us were super bummed out. Having a white Christmas is kinda a big thing here. It’s such a good feeling to wake up on Christmas Day and see inches upon inches of snow on the ground.
Well, that’s exactly what happened. The weather had been saying there was going to be a slight chance of a snow storm Christmas Eve. Nobody paid attention. Then we woke up and there was snow on the ground. Time to slide in a ditch. The best part about living in the country when it snows is watching trucks.. and sometimes cars, drift around in the snow.
The majority of us are really happy it snowed. There are some people who just don’t like snow. I’m not one of those people.
